About the Role

To capture our revenue ambitions for expanding UCAN combat sports programming, we are seeking a Senior Sales Partner Contractor to lead revenue strategy and execution while building direct relationships with brands aligned to combat sports. This role requires a self-starter who thrives in high-ownership, low-bureaucracy environments, excelling at decision-making with incomplete data.


What You’ll Do

  • Establish new client side relationships with brand and advertisers aligned to combat sports
  • Drive the UCAN Combat Sales Process. You will establish clear sales strategy, proactively manage cross-functional stakeholders, and ensure we go to market with simultaneous offers to maximize revenue within tight, fast-moving sales windows for our combat sport events
  • Acting as the glue to ensure cross-functional alignment and accountability for UCAN combat events
  • Educate clients and partners alongside Sales Partners to package and pitch combat sponsorships alongside more sophisticated integrations
  • Contribute to team culture. Practice extraordinary candor by willingly giving and receiving constructive feedback, and openly sharing post-campaign learnings


What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in combat sports revenue, ad sales strategy, or monetization
  • Proven track record of owning and driving combat revenue in UCAN
  • Deep US/CA Market Knowledge: A strong understanding of TV/CTV ecosystem withing combat sports, specifically how major HoldCos and top-400 spenders value premium combat sports inventory
  • Evidence of good judgment: Ability to look beyond short-term fixes, solve complex problems pragmatically, and make wise decisions despite ambiguity
  • Strong communication skills: You can seamlessly connect technical, operational, and commercial teams, and you are comfortable committing to a strategy even if you initially disagreed with it
  • Pre-existing, senior-level relationships across the UCAN major HoldCos and brands to rapidly unlock heavily pre-allocated budgets during short sales windows
  • Experience working in a high-autonomy, high-accountability environment
