ABM Creative/Production Designer (Contract)
About the Opportunity:
Our client, a fast-growing fintech company known for clean, modern brand execution, is looking for a creative designer on an ongoing retainer basis, 40 hours/weeek. This role sits at the intersection of print production and AI-assisted image generation, producing personalized creative for account-based campaigns. The work spans OOH, direct mail, and physical gifting, roughly 3-6 placements a month, plus experimental AI generation work for one-to-one and one-to-few account targeting.
What You'll Do:
- Concept and produce OOH creative from brief to vendor handoff
- Design direct mail and physical gifts for target accounts, managing production specs end to end
- Generate and refine images using AI tools for personalized, account-specific assets
- Build and maintain grids, guides, and templates that keep the team moving fast without losing consistency
- Apply a single typeface across formats with a sharp eye for typographic detail
- Communicate proactively with the internal team on timelines, blockers, and vendor status
What's Required:
- Comfortable recreating and experimenting with images in AI generation tools, Gemini and ComfyUI strongly preferred
- Print production experience: bleed, CMYK, vendor handoff, and specs for OOH and direct mail
- Strong typography skills, with the ability to flex one typeface across multiple expressions
- Confidence working within existing grids and templates, and building new ones from scratch
- Proactive, collaborative communication style
- Proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Suite
- Location: San Francisco, 4 days onsite

- Familiarity with ABM as a discipline, distinct from general brand or performance creative
